WorldNET 08 will take place at The University Of Leeds' Bodington Halls on the weekend of 18/19/20 July 2008. The tournament details will be on the web at www.worldnet.org.uk . This is the most important event in the IFA calendar and all teams are encouraged to join in the biggest internet supporters group football tournament in the world.

Bona fide Internet football teams are invited to enter a tournament that will include the Fanbantanet Cup, Plate and for the first time ever, the Veterans Bowl.

The entry fee will be £250 for teams of up to 22 players – this entry fee will increase to £300 after the 1st of December 2007. With a full squad this is less than £12 a head for a full weekend's footballing pleasure in the finest City in England's finest county.

Day one will take the form of group stages for 64 teams and day two will see two groups of 32 playing for either the cup or the plate.

Alongside this will run a 16 team veterans tournament. Entry to the veterans tournament is based on each team, entered having at least nine players over the age of 30.

Accommodation details will be announced in December 2007 for those people wishing to stay at Bodington Hall. Details of the venue etc.. are on the website at www.worldnet.org.uk .
